Secret Wealth Files 1-2 (Week 1)

All of us attended T Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive in Singapore last year and we were all blown away by what T Harv Eker taught us during the 3 days.  It was definitely the most enriching 3 days we have had for a very long time.  The level of energy we experienced at that time was amazing and unbelievable.  We have never attended any seminar packed with almost 5000 participants!  It was indeed one of the most valuable investments we made on ourselves.  After the event, we decided that this is something that we want to share with everyone.

At the same time, after the intensive 3-days we have to keep on practising what we have learnt and to instill it as part of our lives.  As such, we were excited when T Harv Eker released the Secret Wealth Files which summarises what he taught us in Millionaire Mind Intensive.  Over here, we would like to share it with you weekly (for 7 weeks).  You can also visit this website to enrol for the multimedia online course for free.

View All Problems As Challenges

View all problems as challenges. Look upon negativities that arise as opportunities to learn and to grow. Don’t run from them, condemn yourself, or bury your burden in saintly silence. You have a problem? Great. More grist for the mill. Rejoice, dive in, and investigate.

Having the Mindset of A Beginner

“We must always have the mindset of a beginner, not an expert. Once we think we are expert, we stop learning. But when we continue to adopt the attitude of a beginner, we can continue to learn from everything and everyone.”

Live Is But A Fleeting Moment

Written By Tan Hai Liang

Yesterday we got a shocking and sad news that a friend of ours had passed away. The shock was more so especially when we had only just met up about a month and a half ago.

As our friends gathered together at his wake, we were all solemnly being reminded of the frailty of our life and its preciousness. We realised again that we should live life to the fullest each day. Yesterday had passed and you can’t do anything about it. Tomorrow may never come, so you can’t do anything about it too. What you are doing is living the present moment.

So in all that you want to do tomorrow, next week or during the holidays, do it now. Enjoy the company of your family now, not tomorrow, not during the school holidays. Take effort to catch up with your friends now, not during the public holidays. Learn a new skill now, not when you have the time or when you are retiring. Start an exercise regime now, not when your doctor advices you.

How many times we hear of people regretting not doing the things they wanted to do until its too late?

What is holding you back? Are you too tired? You don’t have the mood? Are you feeling apprehensive or fearful? These are just your mind’s bad habit of procrastinating, keeping you in bed or in front of the TV. Control your mind and tell yourself to go do it.

In my heart I thank my friend who, in his passing remind us to carry on our life with zest and zeal. To enjoy each moment and make full use of it!

How is Petrol Price Hike related to Personal Development?

Today we received a very interesting email from our friend, Chuan Hock who attended the Millionaire Mind Intensive in KL recently. He was commenting about the recent petrol price hike announced by the Malaysian government yesterday. You must be wondering how petrol price hike is related to personal development. Read on to find out…

Written by Chuan Hock

Yesterday evening, 4th June 2008, at approximately 5pm, the car owners of the whole Malaysian nation rushed to fill up their tank as if petrol is on one day sale! This is following the announcement that the petrol price will be increase from RM1.92 to RM2.70 per litre.

What are these people are thinking? Are they dumb or smart? In fact I am quite sad looking at the situation where people are rushing for petrol! I am sad not because of the petrol price hike. I am sad because the people surrounding us have ‘poor’ mindset!!!!

Where is T. Harv Eker????

The people of our country need your help to change their money blue print! We need more MMI (Millionaire Mind Intensive) seminars to be held here to help our fellow citizens!!!

Imagine, every road that has petrol stations was jammed due to the cars queuing to top up their petrol tank! Everywhere, every state, every kampung, every road, every corner that has got a petrol station were jammed! People were willing to queue up for 1-2 hours to get their tank filled. Is it worth doing that?

Let’s assume a car has a 50 liter tank capacity. If the tank is almost empty, then you have no choice but to queue to refill. You will save RM39 (this is assuming your tank is dry to the brink).

But not every petrol tank is empty. Majority are half full, or 2/3 or 1/3 full. So, let’s just take an average of just 1/2 tank (25 liters) to be refilled.

25 liters x RM0.78 = RM19.50

(Note: 78 cents is the increased amount)

So, an average driver (per car) will save RM19.50 by topping up the petrol tank.

Question: Do you think it is worth to queue for 2 hours to save RM19.50?

Why can’t these people use the 2 hours to do something of more value which is worth more than RM19.50 of what they can save???

How much can you earn in 2 hours?

- a typical hawker can fry approximately 50 plates of koay teow. If one plate costs RM4, with just a nett profit of RM1 per plate, he/she will earn RM50 in 2 hours!

- an investor (forex or options trading) can earn a few hundred or a few thousand dollars in 2 hours

- an average engineer’s salary is more than RM10 per hour!

- even a cleaner (the person who comes to clean your house aka ‘maids’) earns more than RM19.50 in 2 hours. They are paid RM50 for a 4 hours job.

If a cleaner’s job is worth more than RM19.50 for 2 hours, and if you feel that you have done a fantastic job by queuing up for 2 hours just to save RM19.50, I think all those queuing for petrol that night will be in very deep trouble when comes the time petrol price hits RM4 per liter!!!

Why? Because by the time petrol price is RM4 (per liter), these people will still be the same, doing the same thing, queuing up to pump to full tank trying to save the one time cost!

They never think of a way of to make their money work harder for them to overcome this crisis! They never think of passive income, investment or business to channel more $$$ for them! They just sit and complain about the price hike!

I really hope that those who are willing to change their life and change their money (financial) blueprint will attend T Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive (MMI) seminar. After attending MMI, you will know why millionaires are different from others…. and you will be on your way to be one of them once you have the right mindset!

And when comes the next petrol price hike, you won’t be sitting in your car queuing up to pump petrol anymore!

3 Negative Words To Eliminate

Written By Tan Hai Liang

Last night I listened to a live recording of Michael Losier, the writer of Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don’t. It’s interesting that he mentioned that the 3 negative words that we must remove from our vocabulary is…”No”, “Not” and “Don’t”.

It’s good that we all stop using the 3 words highlighted above. The Law of Attraction doesn’t distinguish between what is negative or positive. So if you use “No”, “Not” or “Don’t”, that is exactly that you are attracting! An example is when we tell a child “Not” to do something, the child will immediately do it.

So if we keep thinking “I don’t want to be poor”, the Law of Attraction will make you poor. I don’t want to lose my customers, the Law of Attraction will make sure you lose your customers. Remember, it doesn’t distinguish between negative and positive, so when you say I don’t want to be poor, it takes out the “don’t” and read “I want to be poor”. So that is what you get.

So how do you improve yourself? Now you know how the Law of Attraction receive its orders, think about what do you want. An example will be, I want to be rich…I want more customers…think and say the positive instead of the negative and the Law of Attraction will bring you what you want.

Life Is Like A Song

In this week’s cooking video, we’ve chosen to use a French song, La vie se chante, la vie se pleure by Joe Dassin as the background music.

As you watch the video, let’s appreciate and celebrate life!

Our meal for the week is “Sauté fish in 20 minutes”.

Recipe:

Cod fish or dory fish or any fish fillet (marinated with salt & pepper)
